Daughter of José Galván, Pastora’s blood has the long pedigree of her home dances and the modernity of her brother’s, Israel Galván, a genius in the most praiseworthy avant-garde of Flamenco. She’s herself a recognized prestigious dancer, since she won the Matilde Coral prize at the Cordoba National Contest of Flamenco Art in 2001. ... Her lively spirit and irrepressible energy drives her to go continuously into new projects and artistic adventures. So in her lasts works: a solo show for the innovative Flamenc Empiricfestival in Barcelona and her new creation Pastora, premiered in the flamenco festival of Jerez, where tradition and vanguard live together.
